Hello and welcome to my little world of creative services and expression!
I’m Golbon Eghtedari, born in Iran and raised on the west coast. I’ve always had some sort of camera in my hand and my soul is breathing deepest when I am on “the road.” I’ve been working in freelance videography and editing on and off since 2006, but after much encouragement and requests from my family and friends, I decided to expand my photography work and hope to share my love for visual story telling with you. Whether it is a LinkedIn headshot you need or your engagement photos captured I’m here for you!
I love candid shots and authentic laughs that capture the moment with all the infectious energy it deserves. I want to help you create images that take you back to that memory and joy for years and generations to come.
I received the best Experimental Film award from the Female Eye Film festival in Toronto for my film "Fragments" in 2013 and currently working on a documentary film project with my father Goudarz Eghtedari about Peace Corps Volunteers who served in Iran in the 60’s.
Travel is my Prozac. I love urban walking and truly enjoy a good sky scraper as much as a snow capped mountain. City life inspires my photography and shooting style but so do the textures and mood of nature. I shoot on location and try to create a relaxed approach so we can capture you in your best light and spirit.
I find stories in the cracks through concrete…
I stare at trash dancing with the wind…
I stop and smell the roses… literally…
I studied Theater at Portland State University and was last pursuing an interdisciplinary degree in Film and Photography from Columbia College Chicago.
My perfect moment is a sun-filled garden and a bottomless brunch with loved ones… a lively pagode with a 5am churrasco… or a street-side cafe or just a chair and people watching in some foreign land.
I currently live in Seattle but always have my suitcase ready for an adventure or to manifest your projects!
